The Vice President of Restaurant Operations is a senior leader responsible for overseeing the operational performance and strategic direction of the company’s restaurant division. This position will lead and optimize restaurant operations across multiple regions, ensuring the achievement of financial goals, operational excellence, and superior customer experiences. The VP will collaborate with cross-functional teams and executive leadership to drive growth, innovation, and consistency within the restaurant portfolio.

What You’ll Do:

  • Operational Strategy: Develop and execute operational strategies to enhance the efficiency, consistency, and quality of restaurant operations.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field (master’s preferred).
  • 8+ years in multi-unit restaurant operations, with 4+ years in a senior leadership role overseeing large teams and a portfolio of restaurants.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, financial management, and regulatory compliance in the foodservice industry.
  • Availability for travel within the Southeast Georgia region. Allowances and reimbursement provided by the company.
  • A reliable vehicle.
  • Strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and excellent communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with restaurant management systems, POS systems, and other operational technologies.

Job Overview:

 

 We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and motivated Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to drive informed decision-making. You will also manage the financial health of our manufacturing plant. This involves overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Finance Manager will work closely with various departments and our head office in Asia to support the company's financial goals and operational efficiency.

What you will do: 

  • Oversee the operations and development of the finance department, including creating and reviewing internal controls and policies, budgeting, training, and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.
  • Perform financial management duties, including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends, and assessing the financial health of the company.
  • Lead and supervise the documentation of the company’s financial status and forecasts.
  • Understand the manufacturing process of the product, including monitoring and analyzing cost and profitability relationships.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, forecasts, and statements, and submit the monthly reporting package to headquarters by the first week of each month.
  • Supervise the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax, and manage annual statutory audits according to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and US GAAP.
  • Manage the ERP implementation, upgrade, and improvements based on the needs of the manufacturing entity.
  • Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts and validate annual budgets against actual results. Assess the root cause of discrepancies and plan accordingly.
  • Monitor the company's cash flow to ensure sufficient funds are available to meet cash flow needs.
  • Prepare an analysis of financing needs for major capital equipment purchases, working capital, and other financing requirements.
  • Assess financing alternatives by considering risk, return, and market conditions.
  • Monitor the company's credit rating, and credit facilities and ensure compliance with the financial covenants set out in the credit facility.
  • Advise executive management on decisions related to the company’s finances.
  • Mediate between the organization, employees, stakeholders, shareholders, and investors on financial issues for amicable resolution of differences.
  • Advise and assist executive management on strategic business planning based on the analysis of the company’s status and financial forecasts.
  • Handle other ad-hoc tasks related to the role of a Finance Manager.

 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • ACCA and bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Expertise in US GAAP, IFRS, statutory taxation, and transfer pricing documentation.
  • Candidate with audit experience with a Big 4 or reputable accounting firm is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and experience in managing ERP implementation projects. Experience with the Infor ERP System is an added advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Responsive and consistent feedback to the ad-hoc requests from management and stakeholders.
